Xograph Healthcare attended the three day Stanmore Foot & Ankle Course at the Hilton Hotel, Watford that took place on Tuesday 14th May to Thursday 16th May 2019.
Our mini C-arm product specialist was available throughout the event and answered any questions relating to high resolution / low radiation dose intraoperative extremity surgery image guidance and had the latest model of OrthoScan mini C-arm fluoroscopy system for demonstration.
All new OrthoScan mini C-arms are equipped with a 24″ high brightness display featuring the OrthoTouch™ user-interface which allows direct finger inputs and control. The OrthoScan FD-OR was the first mini C-arm to be equipped with flat panel CMOS detector and the OrthoScan FD Pulse is the first to featuring pulsed fluoroscopy. Very short pulses of X-rays replace the traditional continuous stream resulting in a significantly reduced radiation dose. The OrthoScan FD Pulse is also equipped with the largest CMOS detector to be found on any mini C-arm. The 15 cm square high resolution detector allows more anatomy to be imaged in a single view and renders the need for a rotating rectangular detector obsolete.
