Xograph Imaging Systems successfully launches first Go Digital seminar of 2006 in Wales

Key benefits of a digital imaging strategy discussed

Xograph Imaging Systems, the UK's leading independent supplier of Digital Radiography (DR) solutions, has successfully launched its first 'Go Digital' educational seminar of 2006.

The first 'Go Digital' event was held in Wales on Wednesday 8th February and was attended by Hospital and Ambulance Trust representatives from throughout Wales and South West England.

The full day seminar examined the technical, clinical and political issues involved in moving towards a digital imaging strategy. Chris Morris, Radiology Services Manager at Morriston Hospital in Swansea was the Chair for the event and introduced the key speakers.

Andrew Ward from the Welsh Health Estates discussed the Welsh Assembly Government Strategy; Annette Funai, Head of Diagnostics at West Middlesex Hospital presented her thoughts on a digital strategy from a user perspective; and Bob Link from Canon Medical introduced the latest innovations in digital imaging. Other speakers included representatives from The Welsh Health Supplies and Xograph product specialists from England, Wales and Scotland.

The event provided a networking opportunity to meet with representatives from other hospitals that have already made the transition to digital imaging. Demonstrations of MobileDaRt and DRagon, the innovative mobile DR systems from Canon, were also available throughout the day.
