New Mobile X-ray system for Darlington Memorial Hospital

Darlington Memorial Hospital Radiology Department recently took delivery of an ‘Easy Moving’ motorised mobile radiography unit from leading independent medical equipment supplier Xograph Healthcare.

The Easy Moving is a cordless, battery-powered mobile allowing it to be used independent of the mains electrical supply and its user-friendly anatomical programming means that occasional and regular users alike can quickly recall optimised X-ray exposures at the touch of a button. It is an extremely powerful mobile X-ray unit, like an X-ray room on wheels, available with 125 kVp or 150 kVp and 20kW, 32kW, 40kW and 50kW output power options.

Tony Hall, Lead Radiographer at Darlington Memorial Hospital said: “It’s a great machine, as the name implies it is very easy to move and position exactly where we want it. It is also very simple to use and the battery seems to go on for ages without reducing the high image quality.”
