Xograph’s management team bring an abundance of diverse experience and a proven history of success. Our highly motivated executive team bring business acumen with technical expertise, guiding our employees to create innovative imaging solutions for all of our customers when and where they need it.

Dr Krish Soni, Chief Executive Officer

Krish has a long history in the healthcare sector, both as a leader of several high growth health and life science companies; and as a practising medical doctor in the NHS. Krish leads the strategic and commercial direction of Xograph as Chief Executive Officer.  He is also Chief Executive of Propath UK – a leader across Europe in molecular pathology, providing research services to pharmaceutical companies to assess the preclinical safety of their pharmaceuticals and novel therapeutic antibodies.  In addition to the above roles, Krish provides mentoring, advice and capital to a portfolio of entrepreneurial companies across the medical and scientific sectors.   

As a medical doctor, Krish gained his clinical experience at several London NHS teaching hospitals, including Chelsea and Westminster and St George’s hospitals, working in acute medicine, general surgery and orthopaedic surgery.
Prior to training in medicine, Krish worked as a corporate financier within the mergers and acquisitions department of UBS Warburg.  He sits on the boards of four companies, is a Governor of Holland Park School, holds a degree in medicine and surgery from the University of London and an MBA from Harvard Business School.     

Paul Andrews, Managing Director

Paul joined Xograph in June 2007 with his responsibilities including management of new business opportunities, supplier relationships and sales & marketing. Paul was appointed as Managing Director in 2016. He has worked in the UK Healthcare industry since 1980 with various engineering, sales & marketing and management roles at Datex-Ohmeda (now part of GE). Prior to joining Xograph Healthcare Paul was the Managing Director for Spacelabs Medical Ltd where he was instrumental in setting up the newly formed company in the UK after its divestment from GE.


Mike Biro, General Manager

Mike Biro, General Manager of Xograph Healthcare (UK), Finance Director of Xograph Healthcare (Ireland)Mike manages Xograph Healthcare’s UK business as General Manager with responsibilities covering Commercial, Operations, HR, Finance and legal. Additionally, Mike is the Finance Director of its subsidiary in Ireland and is Managing Director of Xograph Technologies Limited which manufactures single use plastic moulded/extruded medical consumable products in the UK. Mike joined Xograph in 1999 as Financial Controller.


Rick Cumberbatch, Science and Technology Manager

Rick’s role encompasses Operations with responsibility for warehousing and logistics and administration of the company quality system and regulatory issues. R&D is an increasingly important part of the company’s business and Rick has senior management level responsibility for the R&D undertaken. Rick graduated with a Degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from UMIST in Manchester in the 1980’s after which he worked with the multinational radiology company CGR Medical (now part of GE). It was a busy time for CGR and much experience was gained installing and maintaining diagnostic radiology systems throughout the North West of England. Rick left the company in 1988 to be involved in a new radiology company; Zenith Medical Systems as Operations Director where experience of operations, logistics and quality management systems was gained. He joined Xograph in 2003.


  Nigel Darwell-Stone, Business Development Manager (Technical)

Nigel joined Xograph in 2008 as Business Manager for the Veterinary, Research and Life Sciences Divisions. His previous work began in the National Health Service as a Medical Engineer before moving into industry in 1983.  Since then he has worked in various engineering, sales and management roles, most recently in Urology, Gastroenterology, Anaesthesia and Critical care monitoring. His current role is Business Development Manager of the Technical Support Department.


Neil Staff, Marketing Director

After qualifying as a Diagnostic Radiographer in 1981, Neil worked in a busy imaging department in the South West of England before moving to the Middle East where he worked in a radiology department specialising in Computed Tomography (CT). On his return to the UK, Neil joined Xograph in 1987 where he was able to use his radiographic experience in the role of Technical Director to help introduce the first X-ray imaging systems into the company's equipment portfolio. Neil continued to help expand and support the development of the company's imaging equipment range both commercially and technically, overseeing the introduction of new imaging modalities such as DR which have had a significant impact on healthcare, for more than 25 years before taking on the role of Marketing Director in 2014.
