X-ray Grids
Available in a variety of specifications and film sizes including circular grids and bucky grids. Standard grids have aluminium spacing and aluminium outer covers in parallel or focused type. Specifications include ratios 6:1, 8:1, 10:1, 12:1, 30, 40 or 70 lines/cm. Special requirements can be supplied upon request.
Gridlids
Designed to fix a stationary X-ray grid onto the front of a cassette during exposure. Gridlids are more cost effective than a grid-cassette, as now almost any type of cassette can become a grid-cassette. Gridlids will accept conventional and daylight cassettes and will provide added protection to fragile grids.
Grid Encasements
Consists of a clear, rigid, shatterproof 'Makrolon' envelope to accept most common sizes of stationary grid. Encasements are easy to clean and disinfect, offering a degree of protection against knocks or drops.
