Green Emitting 'Rare Earth' Screens
Greater dose reduction and improved image quality are the features of Green emitting 'Rare Earth' screens. They are available in the following speeds:
Green-X2 (G2) A very fine detail screen suitable for extremity radiography giving very fine bone detail. This screen can be supplied individually for use with mammography film.
Green-X4 (G4) A mid speed general purpose screen giving sharp images with improved exposure reduction.
Green-X8 (G8) Using a very high speed phosphor coating ensures greatly reduced exposure times with minimum loss of resolution. Ideal for thorax radiography where minimum patient movement is paramount.
