These cassettes are constructed using hardened lightweight aluminium frames and front plates bonded together in a special process for added strength. Lead foil backing materials absorbs unwanted radiation to give improved image quality. Hinges and springs are of strong stainless steel. The pressure pad is manufactured from special foam to provide a uniform level of film contact and a high resistance to crumbling. Fitted with easy to use sprung catches. Can be supplied with or without intensifying screens. Available in standard or deep fitting versions and all popular sizes.
