MobileDaRt

A unique fusion of two Frost & Sullivan award winning technologies*, MobileDaRt comprises of a motor driven mobile X-ray unit and the acclaimed large area CXDI-50G Portable Flat Panel Detector from Canon.

MobileDaRt is designed to provide bedside examinations and rapid image delivery. It is therefore highly suitable for trauma assessment and ICU environments.

Rapid diagnosis

MobileDaRt increases departmental workflow efficiency and speeds up patient examination time. High definition images are available to view only a few seconds after exposure at the patient's bedside. If required, images can be instantly transferred to a radiologists' workstation, PACS or a printer. Rapid diagnosis can then be made and patient treatments can follow without delay.

Effortless manoeuvrability

MobileDaRt has been ergonomically designed to ensure easy staff operation and uses a tube support column and cross-arm design rather than a cantilever arm. It is motor driven to enable smooth mobility and incorporates a wide forward field of view and a front safety bumper. It is slim-line in size to enable neat positioning in the narrow spaces between beds. Users particularly like the ability to move the unit in small increments when on the opposite side of the patients' bed using the unique 'Inch-Mover' feature.

Superior imaging

The Canon MobileDaRt system delivers superior digital images in less than 3 seconds. It offers advanced image processing and an outstanding dynamic range. It provides radiologists and clinicians with an unrivalled level of image quality with a minimum dose to the patient. A detachable grid can be used for appropriate body regions, such as abdominal, pelvic or skull imaging.

The UK's first MobileDaRt installation was at the new University College Hospital in London as part of the new hospital radiology upgrade. Click here for information
